How do you know it’s homespun?

It is all about a texture that simply cannot be replicated by machine.

It is the influence of the human hand, on the yarn and in the weave.

On the grounds of Chateau Dumas, nestled in the Occitanie region of France, myself and all of the other les Dumasiennes at the Selvedge Magazine retreat were visited by the collector Fabienne and presented with a veritable playgound of textiles. What sheer pleasure to sift through a pile and hold these treasures in your hands.
